Vape Doctor, my vape isn't working, what should I do?

The restart method

Similar to a computer or play station, we recommend holding down the power button to ensure that your vape is off. After waiting 10 seconds, try to turn the vape back on. It sounds silly, but trust us when we say that simply turning the vape on and off has done the trick thousands of times.

Unclogging

Another common reason a vape is not pulling is because it is clogged. Vapes usually get clogged by a buildup of excess liquid in the vaporizer. If you suspect your vape might be clogged, we recommend checking out our article best ways to unclog a vape.

Unconnected Parts

A vape is like a chain, if one of the links comes undone, the whole think is broken. It is common for certain parts of a vape to become loose or disconnected over time. You should try completely taking your vape apart and then putting it back together. Additionally, you might as well clean the parts while you take them apart.

Toggle the settings

As vapes become more and more advanced, they sometimes become confusing to operate. Modern vapes now have multiple settings. While they can certainly be useful, they may sometimes get accidentally switched around. For example, some vapes now have a stealth or safety setting that doesn’t allow you to take hits. If your vape isn’t hitting right, you should make sure that your vape is in the proper setting.

Vape pulling but it tastes bad

Maybe your vape is still working but it tastes really bad? This could be because the vape cartridge is low. We recommend replacing your vape oil when there is 10% or less left in the cartridge.

Malfunctioning Piece

While this is the least desirable outcome, there is certainly a chance that your vape is not properly functioning because a part of your vape is broken. It could be a leaking cartridge, a burned out atomizer, or just a battery that has lived past its life.
